Right Choice Review

If you leave College without finishing the course, we have all failed,  so you need to make sure this is the right course, you are happy  and you have the help you need to do well:

  • Are you happy with your course?

  • How will it help you to get to your chosen job / career?

  • What more help do you need to get you to your chosen job / career?

  • What more things do you need to do to help you get to your chosen job/ career?

  • What more help do you need to build important skills, like reading, writing and maths skills?

Why Attendance Matters

Skills for Learning

Getting Organised

In this unit you will learn about some important skills for learning. Work through

the activities on the powerpoint with your personal tutor

Learn Better in Class

At College you need to make sure that you have everything you need with you to learn well. You need:

  • A file,

  • Paper,

  • Pens,

  • You can even bring smart phone, laptop or tablet with you to class. College has wifi on all sites and more and more lessons are using technology.

ILP Target Setting

You should now have had your initial diagnostic assessments in literacy and numeracy.

Use these with your tutor to set at least one literacy and one numeracy target for you to work on in the next few weeks.

Once you have achieved these you can mark as complete and show your personal tutor.

Can you also add a target about how you could learn better in class and get more out of lessons?
