Week 9-10 : One to Ones and Considering British Values
Your tutor will make time for you to have a one to one interview in tutorial time for these three weeks.

Weeks 9-10 - British Values and Prevent
Whilst one to ones are being carried out, we need you to understand more about the Prevent agenda.
Under the law, all students in schools, colleges and universities need to understand what we mean by British values.
Activity
1. What do you think 'British values' means?

Write a list of what you think these are and compare them with your group.

Is there any agreement? How do they vary?
2. Now look at the powerpoint

Compare your ideas to those on the powerpoint

Discuss what each term means, use a search engine to help you find what others think.

Write down what these terms mean to you.
3. How can British values be seen and put into action at college?
Look at how this school has taken British Values and put it into what happens in their school
