Introduction to ALPs 

 

Your Personal Tutor and class tutor will tell you more about ALPs through the year.

 

ALPs is a tool for you to use at College to set the grade which we think you should achieve based on your GCSE grades. This is your target, for example, it may be a

B if you are studying  A Level or

a Merit if you are studying for a BTEC.

 

If, through the year,  you are performing at lower than the grade we think you are capable of achieving, we will work with you to help you to achieve. Remember, this is a guide, but it will help you to know what you are at least capable of achieving, if you work hard.
