Week 19: One to Ones & Values
One to Ones continued
It is really important that in the first three weeks of Term 2 that al personal tutors make time within classes for a one to one catch up with all learners. This one to one should cover:
- Grades and information from the December reports
- Progress being made against ALPs targets
- Targets to help learning move forward and to keep you motivated to achieve and get the best possible results.
Tutors should start to use Promonitor and all students use Proportal to complete one to one meetings and targets, and to fill in their individual learning plan.

Whilst undertaking one to ones all learners can follow the work below

These are your values. Knowing what you personally value is
helpful.

In pairs/small groups try to identify the most important 15 values in their view using the list given as a help. You can add new values if you wish.

Now identify the 6 most important values to you personally, the ones which they believe in and define their character.

Living your values is one of the most powerful tools available to you to help you be the person you want to be, to help you accomplish your goals and dreams, and to help you lead and influence others. Don’t waste your best opportunity.
